Discouraging Week 2

Blah!!
This week I gained 1.3 pounds which put me back in the 200's. So mad and discouraged!! I tracked my food everyday and when we went out to eat (We celebrated that grants came in) I made sure to use portion control!
I went to the gym 4 times this week and have been sooo sore all week long! I zumba'd, did a spin class, a high intensity cardio class, and then my swimming day that I posted about a few days ago.
I keep telling myself that I gained muscle- its just really hard to convince myself when I went back to 200. SO disappointed!!

Hopefully next week will be better!!!

  1. That's why you weigh yourself AND take measurements because yeah.. it can be muscle.

  2. You went to the gym 4 times this week and your muscles are sore, which means they are retaining water. Water weighs a lot. Just keep plugging along, you'll make it :)
