Week 5 results!

So I weighed in this morning and the results are.... Drum roll please...Can you tell I am excited?!?! I lost 3.5 pounds this week!!! GO ME! Making it a total weight loss of 10.5 pounds in 5 weeks!
YAY!

Oh and last night whenever some one ate the cake in front of me I felt sick to my stomach. So I decided to have a yoplait smoothie instead. If you eat the entire bag (prepared) its 7 points. So I go to make the smoothie and I guess I have been using the blender a little to much. The Blender starting smoking and died on me haha. So I had more like flavored strawberry and Banana milk with big chunks. So 3 points instead haha.

How is everyone else doing who are trying to lose weight? I need more feedback and comments!

  1. Katie, I think you are doing amazing. Losing weight is hard...battling the things you like to eat and making healthy choices is not always fun but you are doing it!!!! I am also trying to lose weight. I can't exercise like I would like to because of my knees but I am sticking to about 1500 calories a day and getting in 20 to 30 minutes of walking or bike riding. I have been at it for 3 weeks and have lost 4.2 pounds so far!! Thanks for the blog. I enjoy following it.

What I'm finding hard is weird little things, like today the most tempting thing in my house was those stupid animal crackers, they're so dang good, I kept stealing one here and there which is so unlike me! I usually don't allow myself ANY cheats because i know if i cheat a little i'll cheat a lot and wouldn't you know it, i ate a lot of other things i normally wouldn't as well (Catcher's birthday party) but i've lost 26 pounds since i started all this and i know that i don't want to gain it back, so back to working harder tomorrow!!
